Mindfulness helps us step back and see our situation more clearly. In doing this we make wiser choices for ourselves because bringing moment to moment awareness to stressful situations helps us to cope with them more effectively. It changes our relationship to our anxieties, our pain and our worries, allowing us to deal with them better.

 

Mindfulness courses and one off sessions are available in London, Shaftesbury and Bath  for groups or on an individual basis.

Mindfulness provides an opportunity through exploration and meditation to find some space and stillness in the midst of our busy minds and hectic lives.

 

It provides a way in, to see how our minds work and to get to know our habitual patterns of thinking and behaviour. It is a chance to step out of our heads into our lives by living in the present.

 

It is an opportunity to get to know ourselves and our minds better so that we can learn how to respond more skillfully to whatever life throws at us. It can help us  to  make wiser choices and learn how to respond to life's challenges rather than always reacting to them.

 

There are 3 adult course :

 

  • The 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction/ Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Course

 

        ( developed by Jon-Kabat Zinn) and also

         the .b adolescent course. It has been                              

          written specifically for those working in

          the field of education.

 

  • Mindfulness for Creativity. A four           week course made up of 90 minute sessions. Details forthcoming.
