I completed my Mindfulness Teacher Training at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University in Wales and with the Mindfulness in Schools Project in London.

 

Prior to that I trained as a Reflexologist in Barcelona, under the renowned Danish therapist Lone Sorenson at the International Institute of Facial and Foot Reflexology. I then went on to study Maternity Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.  Following my training I worked for several years in a complementary health clinic in Barcelona working with people of all ages with a wide range of health problems.

 

I then returned to England where I trained for four years with the British School of Homeopathy in Exeter.

 

I have a Practice in London, Wiltshire  and Bath. I run MBCT/MBSR 8 week Mindfulness courses for Adults, 4 week Mindfuless for Creativity course and the 8 week  .bFoundation course for staff working in educational establishments. I also teach mindfulness  to children aged seven upwards in schools and privately. I run mindfulness meditation classes at Babington House in Somerset.

B A C K G R O U N D

I began my professional training as a Reflexologist and Homeopath after becoming ill with glandular fever

and Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome and experiencing their healing benefits first hand.

 

On my journey back to health I discovered Mindfulness. I have found it has enriched my life in so many ways; bringing clarity, simplicity and happiness, but most of all it has helped me to learn how to be with things "just as they are". This is something that in difficult circumstances such as ill health, can be particularly challenging but ultimately very healing; learning to breathe and just be in the present; the only place where life is available to us.

I am passionate about what I do. I believe to be truly healthy we have to look at the whole person and not just treat the symptoms.

 

We need to know ourselves especially our minds, intimately.  We also need to know our susceptibilities if we are to stay balanced and happy
